Authentication failed, Lifecycle Manager server could not be contacted

Workaround for the "Authentication failed, Lifecycle Manager server could not be contacted" error after upgrading vCenter Server to 7.0.3.

vSphere Client shows "Authentication failed" and "Lifecycle Manager server not contacted.

Product history: vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager (vRSLCM) became VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle; in VCF 9 its role moved to VCF Operations Fleet Management. This guide covers a legacy release.

I recently upgraded my vCenter to 7.0.3 18700403 and I noticed that when I went to Lifecycle Manager I was welcomed with this error. “Authentication failed, Lifecycle Manager server could not be contacted.”

vSphere Client shows error: “Authentication failed, Lifecycle Manager server could not be contacted.

Im not aware of a fix for this issue however using the administrator@vsphere.local seems to be working.
